CORBIN — Crystal Stidham’s Corbin Lady Redhounds are picking up steam at the right time.
The Lady Redhounds captured their second win in a row while improving to 11-13 thanks to a 10-0 win over Pineville.
“So very proud of my team tonight,” Stidham said. “From Defense to offense, we are getting in the right rhythm. Apple Terrell was on fire tonight. She had 14 Ks on the night taking care of business on the mound. Then we were able to connect with 10 hits on the night against one of our region’s best pitchers. Rachel is always a beast on the mound and my girls dialed in tonight to pick up the 10-0 win in five.
“Kaili Sanders led the way going 2-for-3 with 3 RBI and ignited the spark on the offense,” she added. “Danni Foley and Chloe Bays came up big each with timely triples racking in a couple of RBI when we were able to have runners in scoring position. Anela Sanders and Raegan Walker each had a double with Raegan grabbing an RBI. Morgan Hicks, Alana Stidham, Apple Terrell, and Lydia King were each able to get a hit a piece. Just made the right connections tonight and gave us the chance to do some damage. Just so proud of my team! Let’s Go Lady Redhounds.”
