CORBIN — Corbin continued its strong play on its home floor with a straight-set victory over Madison Southern, winning 25-18, 25-13, 25-20.
The Lady Redhounds set the tone with a 25-18 victory in the opening set before turning in their most dominant performance of the night in the second, rolling to a 25-13 win and taking a commanding 2-0 advantage.
Madison Southern battled in the third, but Corbin remained in control and closed out the sweep with a 25-20 victory.
“Another win on our home floor, and we’re proud of this group,” Corbin coach Krystal Jones said. “Postseason is approaching quickly, and we’re fine-tuning as we go.”
With the postseason drawing closer, Jones said the Lady Redhounds understands the importance of making the most of every remaining opportunity.
“Every opportunity on the court matters this time of year, and we’re focused on making the most of them,” Jones said. “Always a great day to be a Redhound.”
