The Generals capped off an impressive Southeast Kentucky Golf Conference season in championship fashion, battling through two nights of competition to claim the conference tournament title.
Individual performances helped lead the way, with Eli Summers capturing the tournament championship and Micah Summers finishing as runner-up. Jackson Lakes also turned in a strong performance, finishing seventh overall.
The tournament championship put the finishing touches on a successful conference season for the Generals, who finished as the regular-season runner-up with a 4-1 record.
The final individual conference point standings were also announced following the tournament, with several Generals earning postseason honors.
Micah Summers earned the conference’s top individual honor after being named Southeast Kentucky Golf Conference Player of the Year.
Eli Summers earned First Team All-Conference honors, while Jackson Lakes was selected Second Team All-Conference.
Elijah Thomas and Brennon Combs each earned Third Team All-Conference recognition.
With a tournament championship, a 4-1 regular-season record and five players earning individual conference honors, the Generals closed out conference competition with plenty to celebrate.
