LONDON — North Laurel couldn’t slow down North Bullitt’s offensive attack at the plate Friday, falling 18-8 as the Jaguars (14-10) dropped their third game in their last four outings.
After a scoreless first inning, North Bullitt erupted for six runs in the second innings and never looked back.
The Eagles continued to apply pressure throughout the game, including an eight-run sixth inning that put the game out of reach.
North Laurel showed flashes at the plate, finishing with seven hits.
Cam Smith continued to swing a hot bat, leading the way with a big game at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI. Ashton Napier added a hit and an RBI while Colton Gilbert, Braydyn Evans, and Colter Elza each chipped in with hits.
The Jaguars managed to push across runs in the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth innings but couldn’t regain the lead.
