CORBIN — Corbin honored its seniors with a shutout victory Tuesday night, defeating Berea 3-0 in boys soccer action.
Cameron Smith got the Redhounds on the scoreboard in the first half, sending Corbin into the break with a 1-0 advantage.
“It was a great night to celebrate the seniors and all of their hard work over the past four to five years,” Corbin coach Roger Taylor said.
The Redhounds added to their lead during the second half. Jackson Willis found the back of the net with 10:25 remaining to extend Corbin’s advantage to 2-0.
Corbin put the finishing touches on the Senior Night victory when David added the Redhounds’ third goal with 1:15 remaining.
The Redhounds’ defense did the rest, keeping Berea off the scoreboard to secure the 3-0 shutout and send Corbin’s seniors out with a victory.
