LONDON — North Laurel turned in a strong performance at the 10th Region Golf Tournament, finishing third overall with a team score of 324.
Pulaski County captured the team championship with a 308 while Rockcastle County placed second at 313. The Jaguars followed in third place, finishing seven strokes ahead of fourth-place Wayne County.
North Laurel was led by Max Dotson, who fired a 77. Wil Sutton and Wes Storm each shot an 82, while Jackson Storm finished with an 83 and Jayden Shults carded an 86.
The Jaguars also had plenty to celebrate individually, as Dotson, Sutton and Wes Storm each advanced to the state tournament.
