PINEVILLE — Corbin turned in a strong performance on the road, controlling Bell County in a straight-set volleyball victory.
The Lady Redhounds set the tone with a dominant 25-8 win in the opening set before taking the second, 25-20. Corbin closed out the sweep with a 25-13 victory in the third set.
Corbin coach Krystal Jones was pleased with the energy and effort her team displayed throughout the match.
“We came out strong tonight, and it was good to get a three-set win on the road,” she said. “I’m proud of our girls and the hustle they showed throughout the match,” Jones said. “There are still some things we need to clean up and get better at, but that’s part of the process. We’ll get back in the gym and keep working. Go Hounds.”
