BARBOURVILLE — Wayne Mills’ Knox Central Panthers scored early and often during their 70-20 rout of district rival Bell County on Friday.
The Panthers (5-2) received a stellar rushing effort from Brayden Sizemore while quarterback Eli Carey also hurt the Bobcat defense with his arm as well.
The 50-point win also snapped Bell County’s four-game win streak over the Panthers while turning out to be Knox Central’s second win over the Bobcats (2-6) since 1998. Bell County has now lost six of its last seven games.
