JENKINS — North Laurel continued its strong stretch of play Saturday, posting a season-best team score of 297 to finish second at the Raven Rock Golf Course tournament.

The Jaguars placed all five golfers in the 70s, led by Wesley Storm’s even-par 72. Max Dotson followed with a 74, Jayden Shults carded a 75, Wil Sutton added a 76 and Jackson Storm rounded out the lineup with a 78.
The balanced performance marked another step forward for a North Laurel squad that has steadily lowered its scores over the past two weeks.
“Our golf team traveled to Jenkins today to play at Raven Rock,” North Laurel coach Jimmy Storm said. “The team turned in an impressive 297 team score to place 2nd in the tournament. Wesley Storm led our team with a 72. I was proud that each of our players were in the 70s today. Our guys have improved individually and as a team over the last two weeks and I’m excited to see what the future holds for these Jags.”
