Bell County pounds out 20 hits in win over Lynn Camp

CORBIN — Bell County’s offense erupted for 20 hits Tuesday as the Lady Bobcats rolled past Lynn Camp 17-5.

Bell County (12-6) scored in every inning but one during the 12-run victory. 

Jayda Boateng led the way for the Lady Bobcats, going 3-for-5 with two doubles and three RBI. Brylee Redmond added three hits and scored twice while Amillya Smith and Kyleigh Allen each collected two hits and drove in a run.

The Lady Bobcats also got production throughout the lineup from Emily Perdue, Raeghan Moyers, and Tristan Saylor. Moyers had a pair of doubles while Addison Scott tripled and earned the win in the pitcher’s circle.

Scott struck out 11 and allowed just two earned runs on seven hits over six innings.

Lynn Camp (9-18) was led by Julie Moore, who doubled twice and drove in a run. Lily Henize added two hits and an RBI in the loss.
