Barbourville continued to apply pressure in the second quarter, doubling up Lynn Camp in scoring during the frame. More outside shooting and unselfish ball movement helped the Lady Tigers extend their lead. At halftime, Barbourville was comfortably in front 38-21.

The Lady Tigers got off to a slower start in the third quarter, but Bre Engle and Marleigh Martin combined to score all 13 points for Barbourville in the period. After three quarters, the Lady Tigers held a 51-29 advantage.

Barbourville broke out of its brief lull in the final quarter, thanks to three more 3-point baskets. Head coach Amy Shields turned up the defensive pressure, and the Lady Tigers responded. Barbourville’s defense overwhelmed the Wildcats, forcing multiple turnovers and steals while holding Lynn Camp to just seven fourth-quarter points.
