HARLAN — Bell County turned in a strong all-around performance on the road Wednesday, defeating Harlan County 60–42.
The Lady Bobcats set the tone early and maintained control throughout, improving their record to 15-5 with a balanced offensive effort and solid work on the glass.
Kairi Lamb led the way with a dominant double-double, scoring 26 points on 11-of-23 shooting while pulling down 12 rebounds. She also added two steals and two blocks, impacting the game on both ends of the floor.
Nevaeh Allen followed with 15 points, knocking down two three-pointers and going 5-of-7 from the free-throw line. Aubree Miracle added four points and two rebounds while Bristal Jordan chipped in five points and two steals.
Bell County shot 22-of-51 from the field and connected on five three-pointers. The Lady Bobcats also did a strong job taking care of the basketball, committing just five turnovers while forcing 11 from Harlan County.
Bell County controlled the boards, holding a 28–27 rebounding edge, and steadily built separation after a competitive first half. Bell County outscored Harlan County 33–19 in the second half to pull away for the 18-point victory.
