WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg Lady Yellow Jackets added another impressive victory, defeating CHAT in three sets, 31-29, 25-16, 25-17.
The win lifts Williamsburg to 17-12 on the season.
Coach Dirk Berta praised his team’s all-around effort after the match.
“Another great effort from our girls again tonight,” he said. “I’m very proud of the way they used all aspects of the game. We had contributions from just about everyone on the roster and it speaks to the entire team being ready and pulling together, no matter the circumstance. That’s a great program in CHAT and we’re thankful to play them every year. We’re looking forward to the opportunity tomorrow night and get back into 50th District competition.
