Lady Redhounds notch win No. 20

CORBIN — Corbin’s Lady Redhounds continued their strong season with a sweep over Pulaski County on Monday night.

The Lady Redhounds dominated early and never let up, taking the match 25-11, 25-22, 25-17 to improve to 20-8 on the season.

Corbin showed control in the opening set before battling through a tight second set, then closed the door with a convincing third to finish off the Lady Maroons.

“I’m really proud of our girls tonight,” Lady Redhound coach Krystal Jones said. “It was a team win over Pulaski, and we’re continuing to fine-tune things as we enter the final stretch of the season. The girls are working hard, and I love the way they continue to compete and grow every game. As always, it’s a great day to be a Redhound.”
