PINEVILLE — Braylon Cloud accounted for six touchdowns as Bell County snapped a three-game losing streak with a convincing 53-6 victory over Whitley County.
Cloud threw three touchdown passes and rushed for three more scores, helping the Bobcats improve to 2-3 on the season. Whitley County dropped to 0-5.
After Whitley County received the opening kickoff and turned the ball over on downs, Bell County struck on its first offensive play. Logan Greene broke loose for a 57-yard touchdown run with 10:03 remaining in the first quarter. The conversion failed, giving the Bobcats a 6-0 lead.
Cloud then took over. He connected with Greene for a 21-yard touchdown pass before running in the conversion to extend Bell County’s lead to 14-0. Cloud later found Luke Thomas for a 30-yard touchdown and again ran in the conversion, giving the Bobcats a 22-0 advantage with 2:43 remaining in the first quarter.
