South Laurel scores season-best 92 points in win over Williamsburg 

LONDON — South Laurel’s captured its seventh win in a row while improving to 15-5 with a convincing 92-19 win over Williamsburg on Tuesday.

The Lady Cardinals are now 3-0 versus 50th District opponents while the Lady Yellow Jackets fall to 4-8, and 0-3 against district foes.

South Laurel had points outputs of 60, 62, 60, 60, and 60 before scoring a season-best 92 points on Tuesday.

“Lady Cards came out and played hard and shared the ball extremely well, shot the ball well and ran our actions well,” South Laurel coach Tod Windlan said. “I was proud of our kids maintaining their focus and energy in the second half.”

Maci Messer had 19 points, Callie Jones followed with 18, Kenzie Fannin had 12, Aubrey Bundy chipped in 10 while Ryleigh Bretz and Shelby Smith both had seven points apiece.
