HARLAN — The Bell County Lady Bobcats continued their perfect start to the season with a dominant 59–37 road victory over the Harlan Lady Dragons on Tuesday in a 52nd District matchup.
Bell County set the tone early, jumping out to a 16–8 lead after the first quarter and steadily building separation throughout the night.
The Lady Bobcats carried a 30–14 advantage into halftime and stretched the margin to 44–24 by the end of the third quarter before cruising to the district win.
Senior center Kairi Lamb turned in a dominant performance, scoring a game-high 26 points while grabbing 18 rebounds to control the paint on both ends of the floor. Lamb also added four steals and a block as Bell County dictated the pace with its defense and rebounding.
Nevaeh Allen added 15 points, knocking down three 3-pointers, while Aubree Miracle chipped in four points and helped anchor the Lady Bobcats’ defensive effort. Bell County forced 18 turnovers and converted them into easy transition opportunities.
The Lady Bobcats finished the game shooting 23-of-60 from the field and connected on seven shots from beyond the arc. Bell County also held a commanding 32–15 advantage rebounding the ball.
Harlan was led by Addison Campbell with 12 points, including three 3-pointers. Cheyanne Rhymer followed with nine points, and Raegan Goodman added six. The Lady Dragons struggled to find an offensive rhythm, shooting 14-of-41 from the field while committing 18 turnovers.
With the win, Bell County improves to 14-4 on the season and 3-0 against district play while Harlan falls to 5–12 and 1-2.
