BARBOURVILLE — Perry Central brought Knox Central’s three-game winning streak to an end Tuesday, earning a 68-56 victory.
The loss drops Knox Central to 9-4 on the season.
Knox Central stayed within striking distance for much of the contest, but Perry Central was able to create separation down the stretch to secure the win.
Evan Hubbard led the Panthers with 20 points, providing a steady offensive presence throughout the night. Trevor Smith and Evan Taylor each added 13 points, while Hayden Melton finished with six.
