PINEVILLE — David Teague’s Bell County Lady Bobcats ran their record to a perfect 5-0 after defeating Jackson County, 59-21, during Saturday’s Pride of the Mountain’s Showcase.
The Lady Bobcats dominated from the get-go, using a 17-point run in the first quarter to take a 21-3 edge into the second quarter.
Things continued to get worse for Jackson County in the second quarter as Bell County’s lead grew to 37-10 at halftime.
The Lady Bobcats outscored the Lady Generals, 22-11, in the second half to cruise to the win.
Nevaeh Allen led Bell County with 16 points while Kairi Lamb added 13 points. Eleven different players scored for the Lady Bobcats.
Hannah Jackson and Baylee Berry led the Lady Generals, who fell to 0-4, with six points apiece.
