BARBOURVILLE — The Middlesboro Lady Yellow Jackets are district champions once again. Middlesboro turned in a dominant performance on Wednesday, blanking Bell County 3-0 to claim the 50th District Girls’ Soccer Tournament championship.
With the victory, the Lady Jackets improve to 14-3-1 on the season, while the Lady Bobcats fall to 8-6-1.
Both teams will advance to next week’s 13th Region Girls’ Soccer Tournament, where they’ll continue their postseason journeys.
