LONDON — County bragging rights, postseason positioning and a guaranteed home playoff game will all be on the line when North Laurel and South Laurel renew their rivalry Friday at Gilliam Field.

The Cardinals will look to utilize Warren’s arm and their talented group of receivers to challenge a North Laurel defense that must account for multiple offensive weapons.
South Laurel coach John Hines has guided his team to seven victories entering the rivalry matchup, but a win over North Laurel would carry additional significance after the Cardinals have struggled to find success in the series over the past two decades.
For the Jaguars, Friday represents an opportunity to add another victory over their county rival while securing a favorable postseason position.
North Laurel has history on its side. South Laurel enters with the better record and home-field advantage.
