LONDON — North Laurel’s late-season slide continued with a 3-1 loss to Williamsburg in volleyball action, dropping the Lady Jaguars to 17-16.
The loss marked North Laurel’s third straight setback as the Lady Jaguars continue working to get things cleaned up before postseason play begins.
“We didn’t play to our full potential tonight and that’s something that we have got to get squared away before postseason,” North Laurel coach Angela Singleton said.
Despite the recent losses, Singleton said the Lady Jaguars have shown progress in areas they have been emphasizing in practice.
“We have seen some great things that we have been working on for a minute now with certain aspects of our game,” Singleton said.
With the postseason approaching, the focus now shifts to putting all of those pieces together consistently.
“Now it’s time to continue those good things while polishing some other aspects of the game to really clean it all up and put it together come postseason.”
