LONDON — North Laurel overcame a slow start before finding its rhythm and pulling away for a 5-0 victory over Whitley County in girls soccer action.
McKinley Mastin and Kenzie Lawson each scored twice for the Lady Jaguars, while Presley Thompson added another goal.
North Laurel also finished with three assists. Thompson, Annabelle Welch and Addie Collier each recorded one.
“We had some tired legs from our matches last week and seemed a bit slow to start,” North Laurel coach Jason Welch said. “We finally connected a few passes and were able to score and after that we didn’t look back.”
