MANCHESTER — Clay County continued its success in district play, turning in a strong all-around performance to sweep Jackson County, 3-0.
The Lady Tigers used solid serving and an aggressive offensive attack to set the tone while maintaining their composure throughout the match.
“I’m so proud of my girls to get another district win,” Clay County coach Kendall Deaton Culver said. “They connected better tonight, served the ball well, set the tone offensively.”
Culver was also pleased with the mentality her team displayed from beginning to end as Clay County secured another important district victory.
“They stayed grounded throughout the game, and that’s the mentality we need moving forward,” Culver said. “Go Big Clay.”
