Lady Bobcats hand Lynn Camp, 13-3, loss

PINEVILLE — Addyson Scott dominated in the pitcher’s circle and Bell County’s offense scored early and often Thursday as the Lady Bobcats rolled past Lynn Camp 13-3 in six innings.

Scott struck out 12 batters and allowed just five hits in the complete-game victory for Bell County (15-9). She also scored twice and reached base twice at the plate.

Tristan Saylor led the way at the plate, finishing with a double, triple and three RBI, while Jayda Boateng added three hits, including a double and triple, and drove in a run. Kyleigh Allen collected three hits and three RBI, Kenley Foster added two hits and two RBI, and Brylee Redmond tripled and scored twice.

Bell County scored three runs in the first inning before breaking the game open with a six-run second inning to build a 9-0 advantage.

Emma Burnette led Lynn Camp, going 2-for-2 with a triple and two RBI. Lorelai Prewitt added two hits and an RBI while Ella Frazier and Lauren Partin each recorded hits for the Lady Wildcats (9-21).
