RICHMOND — Lily Henize accounted for half of Lynn Camp’s hits and scored the Lady Cats’ lone run Tuesday in a 16-1 loss to Model.
Henize finished 1-for-2 with a run scored, while Bella Gambell added Lynn Camp’s other hit as the Lady Cats were limited to just two hits on the night.
Model broke open a scoreless game with five runs in the third inning before adding 11 more runs in the fourth inning to end the contest early.
Julie Moore took the loss in the circle for Lynn Camp, striking out three over 3.1 innings.
The Lady Wildcats committed four errors in the loss while Model collected 12 hits.
