LONDON — Ashley Sizemore has been named South Laurel High School’s next head cheer coach.
Ashley is married to Brad Sizemore, who is the new boys basketball coach at SLHS. They have four children: daughter Madalyn and sons Braxton, Cooper, and Brayden. Ashley has been the head cheerleading coach at Bell County High School for the past three seasons.
Prior to that, she spent four years at Bell Central Middle School as the cheerleading coach. While leading Bell County, her team won two 2A State Championships, 1 Regional Championship, and 1 District Championship. Coach Sizemore is also a KAPOS, UCA, and KHSAA certified judge.
“I am so excited to receive the SLHS Cheerleading job,” Sizemore said. “I am honored to be able to apply my passion for cheerleading and the skills I have learned along the way and coach here at South Laurel High School. I am looking forward to getting started. Go Cards.
South Laurel athletic director Jep Irwin said Sizemore brings a lifelong passion for cheerleading to South Laurel and has proven at Bell County that she has the knowledge and skills to win championships.
