Estep, Freeman connect with long balls while Zachery tosses a gem

CORBIN — Cody Philpot’s Corbin Redhounds scored at least one run in every inning while pounding out 12 hits during their 11-1 50th District win over Williamsburg on Monday.

Both Cam Estep and Kaiden Freeman delivered home runs in the win while Malachi Zachery dominated on the mound, allowing only two hits and no earned runs while striking out nine batters.

“Mal threw well,” Philpot said. “Levi, Cam and Trey continued to hit it well for us. District wins are always a good thing.”

Freeman finished with three RBI while Zachery and Levi Brock drove in two runs apiece. Trey Person had two hits and scored twice while Brick delivered two hits.
