Jackson County improves to 8-2 on the season with the seven-run win.
Truett did it all, going 3-for-5 with three runs scored and two RBI while also going the distance in the pitcher’s circle to earn the win.
Wathen drove in four runs while finishing 2-for-4 at the plate.
The Lady Generals set the tone early and never looked back, scoring seven runs in the first inning and adding four more in the second inning.
Ella Sallee added another big performance, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored while Aubrey McCowan chipped in with two hits and an RBI.
