LONDON — One final chapter is set for North Laurel coach Nate Valentine and senior standout Reece Davidson.
The duo will reunite Saturday night at Thomas More University when the Kentucky All-Stars face the Ohio All-Stars at 7 p.m., marking one last opportunity for the coach-player combination that helped fuel one of the 13th Region’s most dominant runs in recent years.
Valentine has been selected as head coach of the Kentucky All-Stars while Davidson earned one of 15 roster spots for the team.
Together, the pair guided North Laurel to its fourth 13th Region championship in five seasons this past March and back-to-back trips to the Elite Eight.
“I am excited to get an opportunity to coach the Kentucky All Stars in the KY versus Ohio game,” Valentine said. “It’s really special to be able to coach Reece one more time. He has been a catalyst for our program over the last two years, and he is one of the best I have ever coached. We are looking forward to competing with some of the best in the state.”
