Dunaway, Jackson and Williams shine in South Laurel’s 13-1 win 

FORT WALTON, Fla. — South Laurel’s trio of Morgan Jackson, Kiley Dunaway, and Kenzie Williams proved to be too much for Gahanna Lincoln on Tuesday as the Lady Cardinals won, 13-1.

South Laurel (8-1) scored in six of the seven innings played, including a five-run seventh inning.

Jackson set the tables for the game, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, three doubles, and three runs scored while Dunaway was 3-for-3 with an RBI, and a run scored. Williams dominated at the plate and in the pitcher’s circle. She collected two hits and an RBI while tossing a three-hit, complete game shutout out. She also struck out 13 batters.

Williams improved to 6-0 while allowing only 16 hits and one earned run in 38 innings of work. Her ERA is 0.18 and she has now struck out 82 batters.
