WILLIAMSBURG — Don’t look now but the Williamsburg Lady Yellow Jackets have reeled off three straight wins thanks to a 50-37 win over Oneida Baptist Institute on Monday.
Ellie Breeding led the Lady Yellow Jackets (8-11) with 15 points while Abby Moses followed with 13 points in the win.
“Great night of basketball,” Williamsburg coach Melissia Douglas said. “Credit to OBI and their coach — they showed a lot of grit. It was great to have everyone on the court, and we had nine players score. We just need to keep building and growing as we wrap up the season. Every player contributed to tonight’s win. Marissa Meadors dominated the boards with 12 rebounds, while Braylee (Evans), Abby, and Ellie stayed in double figures to lead the way.”
