WILLIAMSBURG — Melissia Douglas’ Williamsburg Lady Yellow Jackets are beginning to heat up.
The Lady Yellow Jackets captured their second win during the past three games, improving to 4-7, thanks to a 54-51 win over Somerset Christian.
Williamsburg was able to exact some revenge after losing to Somerset Christian to open the season.
Braylee Evans led the Lady Yellow Jackets with 20 points while hitting 8-of-10 free throw attempts during the win. Abby Moses knocked down two 3-pointers, and finished with 18 points while Ellie Breeding, Marissa Meadors and Tia Brown chipped in five points apiece. Sammie Phipps scored one point.
