PINEVILLE — Pineville came up just short on Monday, falling 46–42 to Washburn, Tenn., as the Lady Mountain Lions slipped to 10–8 on the season.
The game stayed tight throughout, with both teams trading baskets in a defensive-minded contest that went down to the final minutes.
Rachel Howard led Pineville with 10 points, while Madison Johnson, Hannah Abner, and Kaelyn Burnett each added six points apiece.
