Davidson’s 27 points power North Laurel to sixth straight win

LONDON — North Laurel senior Reece Davidson continued his dominance on the hardwood on Saturday against visiting Lincoln County.

After turning in a 31-point scoring effort against Jackson County just a day before, the Mr. Basketball candidate poured in 27 points during the Jaguars’ 83-51 win over Lincoln County.

The win improved Nate Valentine’s team to 14-4 while extending North Laurel’s win streak to six games.

The Jaguars continued their torrid pace in scoring, surpassing the 80-point plateau mark for the fourth consecutive game. They’re averaging 84.3 points per game during their win streak while averaging only 57 points per game during their first 12 games.

Jordan Rawlings has been a big reason why North Laurel is scoring in bunches, he added four 3-pointers and 17 points against the Patriots. Corey Cunagin scored 10 points while Kaiden Allen added nine points, and both Trey Smith, and Cooper Elza, chipped in six points apiece.
