CORBIN — Kylee Martin delivered in the clutch as the Jackson County Lady Generals outlasted Harlan 54-47 in overtime Monday night in the 13th Region All ‘A’ Classic semifinals.
The win lifts Jackson County to 3-8 on the season and sends the Lady Generals into the All ‘A’ championship game, while Harlan’s season record drops to 4-10.
Martin finished with a game-high 17 points, nine of which came during the overtime period as Jackson County pulled away in the extra session. Her timely scoring helped the Lady Generals seize control after the teams battled through a tightly contested regulation.
Sophia Martinez provided a strong supporting effort with 14 points for Jackson County, while Tilly Truett added eight points in the victory.
Harlan was led by Peyshaunce Wynn, who scored 19 points to pace the Lady Green Dragons. Addison Campbell followed with 13 points, and Cheyanne Rhymer chipped in 11 points as Harlan kept pace throughout regulation before Jackson County’s late surge.
