Allen Scores 18 as Bell County Tops Harlan 68–38

PINEVILLE — Bell County remained unbeaten with a convincing 68–38 win over Harlan on Tuesday at Bell County High School. 

    The Lady Bobcats improved to 3–0 overall and 1–0 in 51st District play, while the Lady Green Dragons dropped to 1–2 and 0–1 in district action.

    Nevaeh Allen led the way with a game-high 18 points as Bell County used a strong first half to gain control, leading 38–24 at the break. 

    Holding a 36–24 advantage early in the third quarter, the Lady Bobcats ripped off a decisive 19-point run to put the game out of reach.

    Bell County’s defensive intensity set the tone throughout the night, finishing with eight blocked shots and 12 steals. 

    The Lady Bobcats dominated the glass with 31 rebounds, paced by Kairi Lamb’s six rebounds. They also shared the ball effectively, recording 12 assists on 25 made baskets.

    Lamb scored 15 points while Aubree Miracle added 10. 

    Other contributors for Bell County included Bristal Jordan (5 points), Mattie Hatfield (5), Brylee Redmond (4), Jaelynn Reeder (4), Emma Farmer (3), Lyla Scearce (2), and Gracie Partin (2).

    Harlan was led by Rhymer with 14 points. Yost added 5, while Goodman, Phillips, and Wynn each finished with 4 points. Taylor and Campbell scored 2 apiece, Doan added 2, and Cochran chipped in with 1 point.
