LONDON — North Laurel continued its postseason dominance with an 8-0 victory over Bell County to punch its ticket to the 13th Region Girls’ Soccer Tournament championship game on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
The Lady Jaguars (11-5) wasted no time setting the tone, showcasing balanced offensive firepower and teamwork throughout the match. Lauren Crouch led the way with a hat trick, while Haley Combs, McKinley Mastin, Mia Thompson, Presley Thompson, and Sarah Watkins each added a goal to round out the scoring.
Bell County’s season ends with an 8-7-1 record, capping a solid campaign for the Lady Bobcats.
North Laurel coach Kayla Carson praised her team’s selfless play and togetherness.
“Everyone got in on the scoring action tonight,” she said. “Very unselfish play. That’s one thing I love about this team. They love for everyone to have success. Now we focus in on Thursday.”
