BARBOURVILLE — Both Middlesboro and Bell County advanced to the 50th District Girls’ Tournament championship game with wins on Tuesday.
The Lady Yellow Jackets handed Harlan County a 5-0 loss while the Lady Bobcats cruised to an easy, 12-1, win over Knox Central.
Middlesboro improves to 13-3-1 while the Lady Black Bears falls to 2-10.
Bell County is now 8-5-1 while the Lady Panthers finished with a 3-12 mark.
Bell County and Middlesboro will face-off at 6 p.m. on Wednesday to see who will be crowned 50th District champion.
