CORBIN — For the first time since Nov. 1, 2019, the Corbin Redhounds have lost consecutive games.
After falling on the road to Pulaski County last week, Corbin’s offense struggled on Friday at home, dropping a 28-7 decision to Frederick Douglass.
The Redhounds dug themselves a 21-0 hole before scoring their lone touchdown late in the third quarter.
Frederick Douglass put the game out of reach with a late touchdown in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
Corbin’s record falls to 3-2, marking the first time the Redhounds have two losses during their first five games since 2019.
