HAZARD — The North Laurel Lady Jaguars picked up a dominant 9-1 road win over Perry Central, improving their record to 4-3 on the season.
Mia Thompson and Annabelle Welch led the offensive attack, each recording hat tricks with three goals apiece. McKinley Mastin added two goals while Lauren Crouch scored once.
Crouch also tallied an assist, while Eden Begley dished out two more to help fuel the offense.
“Tonight was a good all-around team win,” North Laurel coach Kayla Carson said. “It’s always good to see the ball go in the back of the net.
“The girls played together from defense to offense,” she added. “A strong defensive effort allowed our offense to flow. Offense executed and took advantage of their opportunities. I was really happy with how well we finished around the goal tonight.”
