MANCHESTER — North Laurel continued its hot streak, winning its season-best third game in a row with a 3-1 victory over 49th District foe Red Bird.
The Lady Jaguars are now a perfect 3-0 against district teams with the 24-26, 25-12, 25-20, and 25-22 victory while improving to 5-6 overall.
“We got off to a slow start tonight,” North Laurel coach Lauren Culver said. “After coming off of two high intensity wins, tonight was a slower pace that we had to make adjustments to. As I said after our win against Knox Central on the Jaguar Broadcasting Network, there are no teams that we can overlook. Tonight was proof of that. Regardless, I’m happy to come home with another district win.”
