CORBIN — The Corbin Lady Redhounds made quick work of North Laurel on Thursday night, rolling to a straight-set victory to even their record at 5-5.
Corbin controlled the match from start to finish, defeating the Lady Jaguars 25-10, 25-10, 25-14.
The win marked Corbin’s second straight victory, while the loss kept North Laurel searching for its first victory of the season, dropping to 0-5.
“I was proud of the way our team competed tonight,” Corbin coach Krystal Jones said. “We’re starting to see more engagement across the board, and that’s exciting for this group. The way we moved the ball and made adjustments really stood out.
“It was so nice to look up and see our student section having fun and bringing the energy,” she added. “A big thank you to our fans and all of Redhound Nation, your support makes such a difference for our team. We will keep building, brick by brick. Go Hounds.”
