BARBOURVILLE — Emma Massengill scored four goals, leading Corbin to an 8-0 win over McCreary Central during Tuesday’s Kentucky 2A, Section 7 semifinals.
Hadley Elmore, Chloe Hippert, Madalyn Niehaus, and Madison Hippert each added a goal apiece in the win.
The win improves the Lady Redhounds to 2-2.
“It was a good win for us,” Goins said. “Excited to advance to the championship.
We played well tonight. We were a little slow getting started but our possession continued to look good.
“We worked on our passing patterns and ball movement more tonight and I think we are getting it down,” she added. “We looked really good as a team in the second half. I’m extremely proud of our team and our continued improvement.”
