CORBIN — Abby Fields’ 2-for-3 effort at the plate which included hitting a home run, three RBI and one run scored, paved the way for Harlan’s 6-2 victory over Knox Central during first round action of the 13th Region Fastpitch Tournament on Monday.
The Lady Green Dragons (18-8) pounded out 11 hits as Addison Jackson finished with two hits, an RBI and two runs scored while Elam Farley had two hits and an RBI. Ella Lisenbee finished with two hits and a run scored while Jordyn Smith and Jaylyn Wynn both had a hit and a run scored apiece. Addison Campbell also had a hit in the win.
Smith got the win in the pitcher’s circle, going seven innings while allowing six hits, and one earned run. She struck out seven batters.
