BARBOURVILLE — Pineville’s Rachel Howard dominated in the pitcher’s circle and at the plate, leading the Lady Mountain Lions (17-6) past Lynn Camp during Monday’s 51st District Fastpitch Tournament semifinals.
Howard limited the Lady Wildcats (7-16) to only two hits and struck out 18 batters while delivering a double and a triple at the plate with five RBI during Pineville’s 6-0 win.
Monica Whitehead had a run-scoring hit in the win while Lily Henize and Julie Moore delivered Lynn Camp’s lone hits.
