South Laurel’s due of Anderson/Martin turned in second place effort during 2025 Operation UNITE KHSAA Girls’ Bass Fishing State Championship

JAMESTOWN — South Laurel’s bass fishing duo of Hailey Anderson and Brooklynn Martin turned in a second place finish during this past weekend’s 2025 Operation UNITE KHSAA Girls’ Bass Fishing State Championship.
Anderson and Martin lost by only a pound to Boyle County’s Allie Addison, who caught four fish for a total of nine pounds, and seven ounces.
South Laurel’s Anderson and Martin combined to catch four fish that totaled eight pounds, and seven ounces. Martin also won the Big Bass Award which weighed three pounds, and six ounces.
Ten girls’ teams competed in the event.
