Redhounds drop 6-4 road decision to Great Crossing 

LEXINGTON — Cody Philpot’s Corbin Redhounds battled throughout their seven inning matchup with Great Crossing before falling in the end, 6-5.

The game was tied at four apiece after three innings of play before Great Crossing scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth to take a 6-4 advantage. 

Corbin (14-12) scored a run in the top of the six to cut its deficit to 6-5 but couldn’t push any more runs across.

Noah Cima led the Redhounds with a hit, two RBI, and one run scored while Trey Person had two hits, and scored once. Levi Brock, Clay Botner, and Lucas Tarvin each finished with a hit and an RBI apiece. Cam Estep, Kade Elam, and Carson Taylor each delivered a hit apiece.
