LONDON — North Laurel’s Cooper Parman was a one-man wrecking crew for the Jaguars during Tuesday’s matchup against Rockcastle County.
Parman shut down the Rockets’ bats, allowing them only six hits while striking out nine batters in North Laurel’s 4-0 win.
He also went 2-for-2 at the plate with one RBI, and one run scored while Cam Hinkle drove in a run, too.
“Nice win tonight,” North Laurel coach Darren McWhorter said. “Cooper Parman was a one man wrecking crew 2-for-2 with a walk, RBI double, and scored a run along with pitching a complete game shutout with nine strikeouts.”
The win moved the Jaguars over the .500 mark with a 13-12 record.
“We played well defensively,” McWhorter said. “We didn’t have any errors. It was a complete team win. Go Jags.”
