HYDEN — North Laurel went on the road, and snapped a three-game losing skid, knocking off Leslie County, 13-6.
The Jaguars (12-12) used a seven-run second inning to distant themselves from the Eagles, and never looked back.
Cooper Parman and Can Smith both delivered home runs in the win with Parman collecting two hits, two RBI and scoring twice while Smith, and Bradyn Evans both finished with two hits, two RBI, and a run scored. Cooper Elza led North Laurel’s with three hits while driving in a run, and scoring twice. Carter Kelley had a hit, and RBI and two runs scored while Eli Holt finished with a hit, an RBI, and a run scored. Dylan Hurley had a hit while Ashton Napier scored once.
Hurley got the win, tossing 3.2 innings while allowing six hits, and three earned runs. He finished with a strikeout. Cameron Hinkle came in relief turning in 3.1 hitless and scoreless innings. He struck out five batters.
